Dorcas was a wonderful host. We actually had a plumbing issue the day after we checked in and she and a plumber were there within a couple of hours. They fixed the issue and were gone quickly. We had another issue that was our fault and she responded very quickly to help us. It’s right off a busy road but it wasn’t hard to get in or out of the driveway. It’s close to nearby restaurants. What a great place! Even better in person than in the photos! The bed was soooo comfortable, and the kitchen and bath were very pretty. We made 2 simple meals and the kitchen had all we needed. I loved the selection of international teas and coffees, so fun to experiment. The place was very quiet and felt quite private despite being on a main road. Super convenient location. I stayed here for a month recovering from a major surgery. The host was most accommodating from adding a tv to finding a generator because power was out due to ice storm. She never failed to check in on me to make sure I was good and everything was going well. I couldn’t have been more comfortable and satisfied staying at her place and so glad I chose here to stay. Within minutes from anything you have a taste for including delivery services. When I spoke to others about the amenities at the home, many were jealous or shared that their experience at an Airbnb wasn’t as pleasant. Dorca was very helpful and responsive. It snowed overnight and I was worried about my parents slipping on stairs and walkway. Dorca came in the morning and salted for me! Dorca’s place is amazing and beat all expectations. I was in town for a family reunion. It was a home away from home especially coming back from a long day with family. The mattress in the rainbow room was so comfy I had to ask where she got it. The house is off of a main road but you wouldn’t know because inside you cannot hear the main road. It was beautiful outside and the table and chairs were the highlight especially with the cool nights. It’s a great central location. Not too far from the airport or downtown Detroit.
